We provide full open access to all research materials published in “WSHIU Scientific Notebooks: Theory and Practice of Social Security”. This means users may freely access, read, download, share, redistribute, and re use the published content. To cover the necessary costs of the editorial and publishing workflow, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge, also known as APC.
The APC is payable only after the article has been accepted and before publication. The Editorial Office will issue an invoice, which may be paid by the author or by a third party.
To avoid delays in publication, we ask authors to arrange payment in a timely manner. Please note that an article will be scheduled for publication only after the payment has been fully processed. If payment is delayed, the Editorial Office reserves the right to postpone publication. If payment is not received within 30 days from the invoice date, the article may be removed from the publication schedule.
Payment of the APC, whether full or discounted, has no influence on the editorial decision regarding acceptance, nor on the duration of the peer review and editorial process.
! Payments can be made in the following ways
- by debit or credit card
- by bank transfer based on the issued invoice
Payment may be made by a third party. In such cases, please ensure that the author’s name and the invoice reference are included with the payment in order to prevent delays or confusion.
Refunds are rare and are considered only in justified circumstances where publication becomes impossible after completion of the editorial process.
! The APC is not refundable after the article has been published, or in any of the following circumstances
- withdrawal of an article by the author
- retraction, correction, or other editorial action initiated by the Editorial Board
- force majeure circumstances beyond the control of the parties
- inclusion, omission, or removal of the article on third party platforms or services
